If you've been depressed before you know that it doesn't matter how good your life is, sometimes the brain chemistry just shifts. We live in the Northeast and going without sun takes its toll at this time of year on many people. My husband just got out his Happy Lightbox" last night! When depression is mild extra light exposure, meditation, reading or listening to motivational books, exercise, B complex vitamins, St. John's Wort etc, can help. If you continue to spiral down go to the doc and get on an antidepressant. There are so many good meds now, there's no need to suffer with depression anymore:) Just my two cents!
